What to Expect:

BSU Conference is our annual BSU conference where students from all over Mississippi come to learn about God, Summer Missions, and connect with each other!

BSU Retreat is just for our BSU and is simply at time for us to hangout together and enjoy nature. We’ll cookout, play some games, and roast smores around the campfire!

Payment:

It's ok if you can only come to one or the other (conference retreat) but the price is the same! This payment covers costs for the weekend including the conference fee and meals for the weekend.

Schedule:

Friday

5PM - Leave Hattiesburg for FBC Madison 2100 Main St, Madison, MS 39110
- Take your car or find a ride. Carpooling provides memories and helps with gas!
- You may want to leave earlier if you plan to stop for dinner.
7PM - Conference Main Session 1
9PM - Drive to Colonial Heights Baptist Church 444 Northpark Dr, Ridgeland, MS 39157

We’re sleeping here. We will provide late night pizza and snacks. We are sleeping on the floor so you may want to bring something to sleep on (a mat or air mattress) plus a pillow and blanket. They have showers at the church so you’ll need to bring a towel and toiletries.

Saturday

8AM - Breakfast (leave Colonial Heights by 8:30AM)
9AM - Conference Main Session 2
11AM - Breakout Sessions
12PM - Lunch
1:15PM - Conference Main Session 3
2:30PM - Drive to Harvest Ministries 338 Raynes Rd, Carson, MS 39427
4:00PM - Arrive at Harvest Ministries for a fun night together!

We’ll cookout, play some games, and roast s’mores around the campfire! Harvest Ministries has beds and showers.

Sunday

9:00AM - Grab breakfast and head to church back in Hattiesburg!
- Harvest Ministries is about a 55 minute drive from Hattiesburg.

Packing list

Bible, pen & notebook to write down what you learn
Wear a BSU shirt on Friday (come see us if you need one)
Casual clothes for the conference and retreat
Bathing suit if you plan to swim/canoe
Sunday clothes for church
Towels & bathroom items you need (toothbrush, soap, deodorant, shampoo, etc.)
Sleeping bag or air mattress or sleeping mat
Pillow
Blanket
